Sudryl's Lego Corner

This is one of my first "Big project", the tank made of more than 1700 pieces and is equiped by 5 remote controlled function and 4 motor.

The functions are:

1. Driving left track

2. Driving Right track

3. Turning of the turret (360° radius)

4. Raising and lowering the turret

5. Shooting

Power Functions used:

1. 1XL motor for driving left tracks and shooting

2. 1XL motor for driving right tracks and raising/lowering the turret

3. 1L motor for the turning of the turret

4. 1M motor to switch between driving mode to shooting mode

5. 2 IR receiver

6. 2 IR remote controller

The main challenge of this tank was the fact that I only had 2 controller and receiver so only 4 remote controlled function. So I had to build an internal mechanism to switch between different function. This is why I use the same motor for driving left and right tracks and for the shooting mechanism and the raising/lowering of the turret.

NB: You will also need a rubber band for the shooting mechanism
